The Department of Food and Bioproduct Sciences, College of Agriculture and Bioresources invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following course during the2019-20 Regular session:

 

Course Number, Section, and Name: FABS 211.3 (1) Introductory Bioproduct Science

Term and Course Dates: Term 1 September 4, 2019 – December 31, 2019

Course Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday 11:30am -12:50pm

Expected Enrollment Limit: 45

Qualifications

FABS211 deals with the structure, properties and manufacture of bioproducts arising from oil-bearing, starchy and fibrous, and proteinaceous organic compounds, as well as the issues related to the bioproduct industry and bio-economy. Therefore, the successful candidate must have PhD in biology or related areas with wide knowledge about industrial products made from biological resources and their social and environmental impacts.

 

Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required.  Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
