Sessional Instructors – Department of Biology, Faculty of Science
The Department of Biology at Brandon University is seeking sessional instructors to teach one or several of the following courses in the 2020-2021 academic year. Sessional instructors can teach up to 12 credit hours (CH) yearly or 9 credit hours (CH) per academic term. Qualified candidates must possess strong teaching, communication and organizational skills and evidence of teaching effectiveness.
- Term 1 September 2020 – December 2020:
- 15:171 Human Anatomy and Physiology I – 3 hours lectures weekly (3CH)
- 15:153 Medicinal plants – 3 hours lectures weekly (3CH)
- 15:365 Plant Ecology – 3 hours lectures & 3 hours lab weekly (4.5CH)
- 15:172 Human Anatomy and Physiology II – 3 hour lectures weekly (3CH)
Qualifications: M.Sc. required, Ph.D. preferred. Demonstrated expertise in the subject matter is essential. Prior teaching experience in the subject areas is preferred.
Salary: $6,205 per 3 credit hour course
